بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ الرَّحمٰنُ(1)
Allah, the Most Gracious(1)
عَلَّمَ القُرءانَ(2)
Has taught the Qur’an to His beloved Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him).(2)
خَلَقَ الإِنسٰنَ(3)
Has created Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him) as the soul of mankind.(3)
عَلَّمَهُ البَيانَ(4)
Has taught him the knowledge of the past and the future.(4)
الشَّمسُ وَالقَمَرُ بِحُسبانٍ(5)
The sun and the moon are scheduled.(5)
وَالنَّجمُ وَالشَّجَرُ يَسجُدانِ(6)
And the plants and the trees prostrate (for Him).(6)
وَالسَّماءَ رَفَعَها وَوَضَعَ الميزانَ(7)
And Allah has raised the sky; and He has set the balance.(7)
أَلّا تَطغَوا فِى الميزانِ(8)
In order that you may not corrupt the balance.(8)
وَأَقيمُوا الوَزنَ بِالقِسطِ وَلا تُخسِرُوا الميزانَ(9)
And establish the measures justly, nor decrease the due weight.(9)
وَالأَرضَ وَضَعَها لِلأَنامِ(10)
And He appointed the earth for the creatures.(10)
فيها فٰكِهَةٌ وَالنَّخلُ ذاتُ الأَكمامِ(11)
In which are fruits, and covered dates.(11)
وَالحَبُّ ذُو العَصفِ وَالرَّيحانُ(12)
And grain covered with husk, and fragrant flowers.(12)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(13)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(13)
خَلَقَ الإِنسٰنَ مِن صَلصٰلٍ كَالفَخّارِ(14)
He created man from clay like that of earthenware.(14)
وَخَلَقَ الجانَّ مِن مارِجٍ مِن نارٍ(15)
And created jinn from the flame of fire.(15)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(16)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(16)
رَبُّ المَشرِقَينِ وَرَبُّ المَغرِبَينِ(17)
Lord of both the Easts, and Lord of both the Wests!(17)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(18)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(18)
مَرَجَ البَحرَينِ يَلتَقِيانِ(19)
He has set flowing two seas that appear to meet.(19)
بَينَهُما بَرزَخٌ لا يَبغِيانِ(20)
Whereas there is a barrier between them so they cannot encroach upon one another.(20)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(21)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(21)
يَخرُجُ مِنهُمَا اللُّؤلُؤُ وَالمَرجانُ(22)
Pearls and coral-stone come forth from them.(22)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(23)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(23)
وَلَهُ الجَوارِ المُنشَـٔاتُ فِى البَحرِ كَالأَعلٰمِ(24)
To Him only belong the sailing ships, raised above the sea like hills.(24)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(25)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(25)
كُلُّ مَن عَلَيها فانٍ(26)
For everything on the earth is extinction.(26)
وَيَبقىٰ وَجهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الجَلٰلِ وَالإِكرامِ(27)
And everlasting is the Entity of your Lord, the Most Majestic and the Most Honourable.(27)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(28)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(28)
يَسـَٔلُهُ مَن فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ ۚ كُلَّ يَومٍ هُوَ فى شَأنٍ(29)
All those who are in the heavens and the earth seek only from Him; every day is an enterprise for Him.(29)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(30)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(30)
سَنَفرُغُ لَكُم أَيُّهَ الثَّقَلانِ(31)
Disposing all works quickly We tend towards your account, O you two large groups!(31)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(32)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(32)
يٰمَعشَرَ الجِنِّ وَالإِنسِ إِنِ استَطَعتُم أَن تَنفُذوا مِن أَقطارِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ فَانفُذوا ۚ لا تَنفُذونَ إِلّا بِسُلطٰنٍ(33)
O the groups of jinns and men, if you can cross the boundaries of the heavens and the earth, then cross them; wherever you may go, His is the kingdom!(33)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(34)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(34)
يُرسَلُ عَلَيكُما شُواظٌ مِن نارٍ وَنُحاسٌ فَلا تَنتَصِرانِ(35)
Flames of smokeless fire and black smoke without flames, will be let loose on you, so you will not be able to retaliate.(35)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(36)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(36)
فَإِذَا انشَقَّتِ السَّماءُ فَكانَت وَردَةً كَالدِّهانِ(37)
And when the heaven will split, it will appear like a rose painted red.(37)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(38)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(38)
فَيَومَئِذٍ لا يُسـَٔلُ عَن ذَنبِهِ إِنسٌ وَلا جانٌّ(39)
On that day no sinner will be questioned about his sins, from men or from jinns.(39)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(40)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(40)
يُعرَفُ المُجرِمونَ بِسيمٰهُم فَيُؤخَذُ بِالنَّوٰصى وَالأَقدامِ(41)
The criminals will be recognised from their faces, so will be caught by their forelocks and feet, and thrown into hell.(41)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(42)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(42)
هٰذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتى يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا المُجرِمونَ(43)
This is hell, which the criminals deny.(43)
يَطوفونَ بَينَها وَبَينَ حَميمٍ ءانٍ(44)
They shall keep going back and forth between it and the extremely hot boiling water.(44)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(45)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(45)
وَلِمَن خافَ مَقامَ رَبِّهِ جَنَّتانِ(46)
And for one who fears to stand before his Lord, are two Gardens.(46)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(47)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(47)
ذَواتا أَفنانٍ(48)
Having numerous branches.(48)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(49)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(49)
فيهِما عَينانِ تَجرِيانِ(50)
In the two Gardens flow two springs.(50)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(51)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(51)
فيهِما مِن كُلِّ فٰكِهَةٍ زَوجانِ(52)
In which are fruits of all kinds, each of two varieties.(52)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(53)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(53)
مُتَّكِـٔينَ عَلىٰ فُرُشٍ بَطائِنُها مِن إِستَبرَقٍ ۚ وَجَنَى الجَنَّتَينِ دانٍ(54)
Reclining upon thrones that are lined with brocade, with the fruit of both Gardens close enough to be picked from under.(54)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(55)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(55)
فيهِنَّ قٰصِرٰتُ الطَّرفِ لَم يَطمِثهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبلَهُم وَلا جانٌّ(56)
Upon thrones are the women who do not gaze at men except their husbands, and before them, are untouched by any man or jinn.(56)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(57)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(57)
كَأَنَّهُنَّ الياقوتُ وَالمَرجانُ(58)
They are like rubies and coral-stone.(58)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(59)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(59)
هَل جَزاءُ الإِحسٰنِ إِلَّا الإِحسٰنُ(60)
What is the reward of virtue except virtue (in return)?(60)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(61)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(61)
وَمِن دونِهِما جَنَّتانِ(62)
And besides them, there are two more Gardens.(62)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(63)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(63)
مُدهامَّتانِ(64)
Densely covered with foliage, appearing dark.(64)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(65)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(65)
فيهِما عَينانِ نَضّاخَتانِ(66)
In the Gardens are two springs, overflowing with abundance.(66)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(67)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(67)
فيهِما فٰكِهَةٌ وَنَخلٌ وَرُمّانٌ(68)
In them are fruits (of all kinds), and dates and pomegranate.(68)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(69)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(69)
فيهِنَّ خَيرٰتٌ حِسانٌ(70)
In them are women of good behaviour and gorgeous faces.(70)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(71)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(71)
حورٌ مَقصورٰتٌ فِى الخِيامِ(72)
They are houris (maidens of Paradise), hidden from view, in pavilions.(72)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(73)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(73)
لَم يَطمِثهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبلَهُم وَلا جانٌّ(74)
Untouched by any man or jinn, before them.(74)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(75)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(75)
مُتَّكِـٔينَ عَلىٰ رَفرَفٍ خُضرٍ وَعَبقَرِىٍّ حِسانٍ(76)
Reclining on green cushions and beautiful decorated carpets.(76)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(77)
So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny?(77)
تَبٰرَكَ اسمُ رَبِّكَ ذِى الجَلٰلِ وَالإِكرامِ(78)
Most Auspicious is the name of your Lord, the Most Majestic and the Most Honourable.(78)
