بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ الرَّحمٰنُ(1)
(Allah) Most Gracious!(1)
عَلَّمَ القُرءانَ(2)
It is He Who has taught the Qur'an.(2)
خَلَقَ الإِنسٰنَ(3)
He has created man:(3)
عَلَّمَهُ البَيانَ(4)
He has taught him speech (and intelligence).(4)
الشَّمسُ وَالقَمَرُ بِحُسبانٍ(5)
The sun and the moon follow courses (exactly) computed;(5)
وَالنَّجمُ وَالشَّجَرُ يَسجُدانِ(6)
And the herbs and the trees - both (alike) prostrate in adoration.(6)
وَالسَّماءَ رَفَعَها وَوَضَعَ الميزانَ(7)
And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the Balance (of Justice),(7)
أَلّا تَطغَوا فِى الميزانِ(8)
In order that ye may not transgress (due) balance.(8)
وَأَقيمُوا الوَزنَ بِالقِسطِ وَلا تُخسِرُوا الميزانَ(9)
So establish weight with justice and fall not short in the balance.(9)
وَالأَرضَ وَضَعَها لِلأَنامِ(10)
It is He Who has spread out the earth for (His) creatures:(10)
فيها فٰكِهَةٌ وَالنَّخلُ ذاتُ الأَكمامِ(11)
Therein is fruit and date-palms, producing spathes (enclosing dates);(11)
وَالحَبُّ ذُو العَصفِ وَالرَّيحانُ(12)
Also corn, with (its) leaves and stalk for fodder, and sweet-smelling plants.(12)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(13)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(13)
خَلَقَ الإِنسٰنَ مِن صَلصٰلٍ كَالفَخّارِ(14)
He created man from sounding clay like unto pottery,(14)
وَخَلَقَ الجانَّ مِن مارِجٍ مِن نارٍ(15)
And He created Jinns from fire free of smoke:(15)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(16)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(16)
رَبُّ المَشرِقَينِ وَرَبُّ المَغرِبَينِ(17)
(He is) Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests:(17)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(18)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(18)
مَرَجَ البَحرَينِ يَلتَقِيانِ(19)
He has let free the two bodies of flowing water, meeting together:(19)
بَينَهُما بَرزَخٌ لا يَبغِيانِ(20)
Between them is a Barrier which they do not transgress:(20)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(21)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(21)
يَخرُجُ مِنهُمَا اللُّؤلُؤُ وَالمَرجانُ(22)
Out of them come Pearls and Coral:(22)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(23)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(23)
وَلَهُ الجَوارِ المُنشَـٔاتُ فِى البَحرِ كَالأَعلٰمِ(24)
And His are the Ships sailing smoothly through the seas, lofty as mountains:(24)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(25)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(25)
كُلُّ مَن عَلَيها فانٍ(26)
All that is on earth will perish:(26)
وَيَبقىٰ وَجهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الجَلٰلِ وَالإِكرامِ(27)
But will abide (for ever) the Face of thy Lord,- full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour.(27)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(28)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(28)
يَسـَٔلُهُ مَن فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ ۚ كُلَّ يَومٍ هُوَ فى شَأنٍ(29)
Of Him seeks (its need) every creature in the heavens and on earth: every day in (new) Splendour doth He (shine)!(29)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(30)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(30)
سَنَفرُغُ لَكُم أَيُّهَ الثَّقَلانِ(31)
Soon shall We settle your affairs, O both ye worlds!(31)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(32)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(32)
يٰمَعشَرَ الجِنِّ وَالإِنسِ إِنِ استَطَعتُم أَن تَنفُذوا مِن أَقطارِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ فَانفُذوا ۚ لا تَنفُذونَ إِلّا بِسُلطٰنٍ(33)
O ye assembly of Jinns and men! If it be ye can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass ye! not without authority shall ye be able to pass!(33)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(34)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(34)
يُرسَلُ عَلَيكُما شُواظٌ مِن نارٍ وَنُحاسٌ فَلا تَنتَصِرانِ(35)
On you will be sent (O ye evil ones twain!) a flame of fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke): no defence will ye have:(35)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(36)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(36)
فَإِذَا انشَقَّتِ السَّماءُ فَكانَت وَردَةً كَالدِّهانِ(37)
When the sky is rent asunder, and it becomes red like ointment:(37)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(38)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(38)
فَيَومَئِذٍ لا يُسـَٔلُ عَن ذَنبِهِ إِنسٌ وَلا جانٌّ(39)
On that Day no question will be asked of man or Jinn as to his sin.(39)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(40)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(40)
يُعرَفُ المُجرِمونَ بِسيمٰهُم فَيُؤخَذُ بِالنَّوٰصى وَالأَقدامِ(41)
(For) the sinners will be known by their marks: and they will be seized by their forelocks and their feet.(41)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(42)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(42)
هٰذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتى يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا المُجرِمونَ(43)
This is the Hell which the Sinners deny:(43)
يَطوفونَ بَينَها وَبَينَ حَميمٍ ءانٍ(44)
In its midst and in the midst of boiling hot water will they wander round!(44)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(45)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(45)
وَلِمَن خافَ مَقامَ رَبِّهِ جَنَّتانِ(46)
But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens-(46)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(47)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-(47)
ذَواتا أَفنانٍ(48)
Containing all kinds (of trees and delights);-(48)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(49)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-(49)
فيهِما عَينانِ تَجرِيانِ(50)
In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free);(50)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(51)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-(51)
فيهِما مِن كُلِّ فٰكِهَةٍ زَوجانِ(52)
In them will be Fruits of every kind, two and two.(52)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(53)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(53)
مُتَّكِـٔينَ عَلىٰ فُرُشٍ بَطائِنُها مِن إِستَبرَقٍ ۚ وَجَنَى الجَنَّتَينِ دانٍ(54)
They will recline on Carpets, whose inner linings will be of rich brocade: the Fruit of the Gardens will be near (and easy of reach).(54)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(55)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(55)
فيهِنَّ قٰصِرٰتُ الطَّرفِ لَم يَطمِثهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبلَهُم وَلا جانٌّ(56)
In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;-(56)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(57)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-(57)
كَأَنَّهُنَّ الياقوتُ وَالمَرجانُ(58)
Like unto Rubies and coral.(58)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(59)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(59)
هَل جَزاءُ الإِحسٰنِ إِلَّا الإِحسٰنُ(60)
Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good?(60)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(61)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(61)
وَمِن دونِهِما جَنَّتانِ(62)
And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,-(62)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(63)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-(63)
مُدهامَّتانِ(64)
Dark-green in colour (from plentiful watering).(64)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(65)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(65)
فيهِما عَينانِ نَضّاخَتانِ(66)
In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance:(66)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(67)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(67)
فيهِما فٰكِهَةٌ وَنَخلٌ وَرُمّانٌ(68)
In them will be Fruits, and dates and pomegranates:(68)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(69)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(69)
فيهِنَّ خَيرٰتٌ حِسانٌ(70)
In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;-(70)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(71)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-(71)
حورٌ مَقصورٰتٌ فِى الخِيامِ(72)
Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;-(72)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(73)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-(73)
لَم يَطمِثهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبلَهُم وَلا جانٌّ(74)
Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;-(74)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(75)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-(75)
مُتَّكِـٔينَ عَلىٰ رَفرَفٍ خُضرٍ وَعَبقَرِىٍّ حِسانٍ(76)
Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty.(76)
فَبِأَىِّ ءالاءِ رَبِّكُما تُكَذِّبانِ(77)
Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?(77)
تَبٰرَكَ اسمُ رَبِّكَ ذِى الجَلٰلِ وَالإِكرامِ(78)
Blessed be the name of thy Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour.(78)
